The primary duties for this position are:
- Obtain information from subcontractors on material needed to meet the project requirements
- Develop bids, including trusses, windows, and door quotes
- Obtain quotes from suppliers
- Input material bid into software
- Place orders with suppliers as project progresses
- Troubleshoot project issues
- Prioritize and multi-task multiple projects throughout the day
Requirements for this position are:
- General knowledge of UDC building codes
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience completing project bids off of blueprints
- Strong people skills
- Ability to use computer programs/computer skills
- Work well with others
- Willing to meet with clients to go over project needs and complete the sale
